Qaf · 50:9

In context

1. أَفَلَمۡ يَنظُرُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَوۡقَهُمۡ كَيۡفَ بَنَيۡنَٰهَا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِن فُرُوجٖ

   50:6Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts

2. وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنَٰهَا وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوۡجِۭ بَهِيجٖ

   50:7And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind

3. تَبۡصِرَةٗ وَذِكۡرَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبۡدٖ مُّنِيبٖ

   50:8Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]

4. وَنَزَّلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ مُّبَٰرَكٗا فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتٖ وَحَبَّ ٱلۡحَصِيدِ

   50:9And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest

5. وَٱلنَّخۡلَ بَاسِقَٰتٖ لَّهَا طَلۡعٞ نَّضِيدٞ

   50:10And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers

6. رِّزۡقٗا لِّلۡعِبَادِۖ وَأَحۡيَيۡنَا بِهِۦ بَلۡدَةٗ مَّيۡتٗاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡخُرُوجُ

   50:11As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection

7. كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ

   50:12The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud
