At-Tur · 52:17

In context

1. هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ

   52:14This is the Fire which you used to deny

2. أَفَسِحۡرٌ هَٰذَآ أَمۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

   52:15Then is this magic, or do you not see

3. ٱصۡلَوۡهَا فَٱصۡبِرُوٓاْ أَوۡ لَا تَصۡبِرُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ إِنَّمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

   52:16[Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do

4. إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَنَعِيمٖ

   52:17Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure

5. فَٰكِهِينَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

   52:18Enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire

6. كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

   52:19[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do

7. مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّصۡفُوفَةٖۖ وَزَوَّجۡنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٖ

   52:20They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes
