An-Najm · 53:14

In context

1. مَا كَذَبَ ٱلۡفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓ

   53:11The heart did not lie [about] what it saw

2. أَفَتُمَٰرُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ

   53:12So will you dispute with him over what he saw

3. وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ نَزۡلَةً أُخۡرَىٰ

   53:13And he certainly saw him in another descent

4. عِندَ سِدۡرَةِ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

   53:14At the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary

5. عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰٓ

   53:15Near it is the Garden of Refuge

6. إِذۡ يَغۡشَى ٱلسِّدۡرَةَ مَا يَغۡشَىٰ

   53:16When there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it]

7. مَا زَاغَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ

   53:17The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit]
