An-Najm · 53:17

In context

1. عِندَ سِدۡرَةِ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

   53:14At the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary

2. عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰٓ

   53:15Near it is the Garden of Refuge

3. إِذۡ يَغۡشَى ٱلسِّدۡرَةَ مَا يَغۡشَىٰ

   53:16When there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it]

4. مَا زَاغَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ

   53:17The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit]

5. لَقَدۡ رَأَىٰ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ

   53:18He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord

6. أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱللَّـٰتَ وَٱلۡعُزَّىٰ

   53:19So have you considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza

7. وَمَنَوٰةَ ٱلثَّالِثَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ

   53:20And Manat, the third - the other one
