An-Najm · 53:38

In context

1. أَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰٓ

   53:35Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees

2. أَمۡ لَمۡ يُنَبَّأۡ بِمَا فِي صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ

   53:36Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses

3. وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلَّذِي وَفَّىٰٓ

   53:37And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations]

4. أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰ

   53:38That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another

5. وَأَن لَّيۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ

   53:39And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives

6. وَأَنَّ سَعۡيَهُۥ سَوۡفَ يُرَىٰ

   53:40And that his effort is going to be seen

7. ثُمَّ يُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَآءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ

   53:41Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense
