An-Najm · 53:40

In context

1. وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلَّذِي وَفَّىٰٓ

   53:37And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations]

2. أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰ

   53:38That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another

3. وَأَن لَّيۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ

   53:39And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives

4. وَأَنَّ سَعۡيَهُۥ سَوۡفَ يُرَىٰ

   53:40And that his effort is going to be seen

5. ثُمَّ يُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَآءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ

   53:41Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense

6. وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

   53:42And that to your Lord is the finality

7. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَضۡحَكَ وَأَبۡكَىٰ

   53:43And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep
