An-Najm · 53:42

In context

1. وَأَن لَّيۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ

   53:39And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives

2. وَأَنَّ سَعۡيَهُۥ سَوۡفَ يُرَىٰ

   53:40And that his effort is going to be seen

3. ثُمَّ يُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَآءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ

   53:41Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense

4. وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

   53:42And that to your Lord is the finality

5. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَضۡحَكَ وَأَبۡكَىٰ

   53:43And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep

6. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحۡيَا

   53:44And that it is He who causes death and gives life

7. وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

   53:45And that He creates the two mates - the male and female
