An-Najm · 53:46

In context

1. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَضۡحَكَ وَأَبۡكَىٰ

   53:43And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep

2. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحۡيَا

   53:44And that it is He who causes death and gives life

3. وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

   53:45And that He creates the two mates - the male and female

4. مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ إِذَا تُمۡنَىٰ

   53:46From a sperm-drop when it is emitted

5. وَأَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ

   53:47And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation

6. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغۡنَىٰ وَأَقۡنَىٰ

   53:48And that it is He who enriches and suffices

7. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰ

   53:49And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius
