An-Najm · 53:47

In context

1. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحۡيَا

   53:44And that it is He who causes death and gives life

2. وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

   53:45And that He creates the two mates - the male and female

3. مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ إِذَا تُمۡنَىٰ

   53:46From a sperm-drop when it is emitted

4. وَأَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ

   53:47And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation

5. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغۡنَىٰ وَأَقۡنَىٰ

   53:48And that it is He who enriches and suffices

6. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰ

   53:49And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius

7. وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

   53:50And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad
