An-Najm · 53:49

In context

1. مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ إِذَا تُمۡنَىٰ

   53:46From a sperm-drop when it is emitted

2. وَأَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ

   53:47And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation

3. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغۡنَىٰ وَأَقۡنَىٰ

   53:48And that it is He who enriches and suffices

4. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰ

   53:49And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius

5. وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

   53:50And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad

6. وَثَمُودَاْ فَمَآ أَبۡقَىٰ

   53:51And Thamud - and He did not spare [them]

7. وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ

   53:52And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing
