An-Najm · 53:50

In context

1. وَأَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ

   53:47And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation

2. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغۡنَىٰ وَأَقۡنَىٰ

   53:48And that it is He who enriches and suffices

3. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰ

   53:49And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius

4. وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

   53:50And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad

5. وَثَمُودَاْ فَمَآ أَبۡقَىٰ

   53:51And Thamud - and He did not spare [them]

6. وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ

   53:52And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing

7. وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ

   53:53And the overturned towns He hurled down
