An-Najm · 53:54

In context

1. وَثَمُودَاْ فَمَآ أَبۡقَىٰ

   53:51And Thamud - and He did not spare [them]

2. وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ

   53:52And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing

3. وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ

   53:53And the overturned towns He hurled down

4. فَغَشَّىٰهَا مَا غَشَّىٰ

   53:54And covered them by that which He covered

5. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ

   53:55Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt

6. هَٰذَا نَذِيرٞ مِّنَ ٱلنُّذُرِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ

   53:56This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners

7. أَزِفَتِ ٱلۡأٓزِفَةُ

   53:57The Approaching Day has approached
