An-Najm · 53:55

In context

1. وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ

   53:52And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing

2. وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ

   53:53And the overturned towns He hurled down

3. فَغَشَّىٰهَا مَا غَشَّىٰ

   53:54And covered them by that which He covered

4. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ

   53:55Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt

5. هَٰذَا نَذِيرٞ مِّنَ ٱلنُّذُرِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ

   53:56This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners

6. أَزِفَتِ ٱلۡأٓزِفَةُ

   53:57The Approaching Day has approached

7. لَيۡسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ

   53:58Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover
