An-Najm · 53:56

In context

1. وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ

   53:53And the overturned towns He hurled down

2. فَغَشَّىٰهَا مَا غَشَّىٰ

   53:54And covered them by that which He covered

3. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ

   53:55Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt

4. هَٰذَا نَذِيرٞ مِّنَ ٱلنُّذُرِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ

   53:56This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners

5. أَزِفَتِ ٱلۡأٓزِفَةُ

   53:57The Approaching Day has approached

6. لَيۡسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ

   53:58Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover

7. أَفَمِنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِ تَعۡجَبُونَ

   53:59Then at this statement do you wonder
