An-Najm · 53:7

In context

1. إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحۡيٞ يُوحَىٰ

   53:4It is not but a revelation revealed

2. عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡقُوَىٰ

   53:5Taught to him by one intense in strength

3. ذُو مِرَّةٖ فَٱسۡتَوَىٰ

   53:6One of soundness. And he rose to [his] true form

4. وَهُوَ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

   53:7While he was in the higher [part of the] horizon

5. ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ

   53:8Then he approached and descended

6. فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوۡسَيۡنِ أَوۡ أَدۡنَىٰ

   53:9And was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer

7. فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦ مَآ أَوۡحَىٰ

   53:10And he revealed to His Servant what he revealed
