Al-Qamar · 54:13

In context

1. فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّي مَغۡلُوبٞ فَٱنتَصِرۡ

   54:10So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help

2. فَفَتَحۡنَآ أَبۡوَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَآءٖ مُّنۡهَمِرٖ

   54:11Then We opened the gates of the heaven with rain pouring down

3. وَفَجَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ عُيُونٗا فَٱلۡتَقَى ٱلۡمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرٖ قَدۡ قُدِرَ

   54:12And caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined

4. وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلۡوَٰحٖ وَدُسُرٖ

   54:13And We carried him on a [construction of] planks and nails

5. تَجۡرِي بِأَعۡيُنِنَا جَزَآءٗ لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ

   54:14Sailing under Our observation as reward for he who had been denied

6. وَلَقَد تَّرَكۡنَٰهَآ ءَايَةٗ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ

   54:15And We left it as a sign, so is there any who will remember

7. فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ

   54:16And how [severe] were My punishment and warning
