Al-Qamar · 54:49

In context

1. بَلِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ مَوۡعِدُهُمۡ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدۡهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ

   54:46But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter

2. إِنَّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ وَسُعُرٖ

   54:47Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness

3. يَوۡمَ يُسۡحَبُونَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمۡ ذُوقُواْ مَسَّ سَقَرَ

   54:48The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar

4. إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ بِقَدَرٖ

   54:49Indeed, all things We created with predestination

5. وَمَآ أَمۡرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةٞ كَلَمۡحِۭ بِٱلۡبَصَرِ

   54:50And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye

6. وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشۡيَاعَكُمۡ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ

   54:51And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember

7. وَكُلُّ شَيۡءٖ فَعَلُوهُ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ

   54:52And everything they did is in written records
