Al-Waqi'ah · 56:39

In context

1. فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُنَّ أَبۡكَارًا

   56:36And made them virgins

2. عُرُبًا أَتۡرَابٗا

   56:37Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age

3. لِّأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

   56:38For the companions of the right [who are]

4. ثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

   56:39A company of the former peoples

5. وَثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

   56:40And a company of the later peoples

6. وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ

   56:41And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left

7. فِي سَمُومٖ وَحَمِيمٖ

   56:42[They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water
