Al-Waqi'ah · 56:5

In context

1. لَيۡسَ لِوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ

   56:2There is, at its occurrence, no denial

2. خَافِضَةٞ رَّافِعَةٌ

   56:3It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]

3. إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ رَجّٗا

   56:4When the earth is shaken with convulsion

4. وَبُسَّتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ بَسّٗا

   56:5And the mountains are broken down, crumbling

5. فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءٗ مُّنۢبَثّٗا

   56:6And become dust dispersing

6. وَكُنتُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا ثَلَٰثَةٗ

   56:7And you become [of] three kinds

7. فَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ

   56:8Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right
