Al-Waqi'ah · 56:62

In context

1. ءَأَنتُمۡ تَخۡلُقُونَهُۥٓ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقُونَ

   56:59Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator

2. نَحۡنُ قَدَّرۡنَا بَيۡنَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِينَ

   56:60We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone

3. عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ أَمۡثَٰلَكُمۡ وَنُنشِئَكُمۡ فِي مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

   56:61In that We will change your likenesses and produce you in that [form] which you do not know

4. وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتُمُ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ فَلَوۡلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

   56:62And you have already known the first creation, so will you not remember

5. أَفَرَءَيۡتُم مَّا تَحۡرُثُونَ

   56:63And have you seen that [seed] which you sow

6. ءَأَنتُمۡ تَزۡرَعُونَهُۥٓ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلزَّـٰرِعُونَ

   56:64Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower

7. لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ حُطَٰمٗا فَظَلۡتُمۡ تَفَكَّهُونَ

   56:65If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder
