Al-Waqi'ah · 56:67

In context

1. ءَأَنتُمۡ تَزۡرَعُونَهُۥٓ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلزَّـٰرِعُونَ

   56:64Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower

2. لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ حُطَٰمٗا فَظَلۡتُمۡ تَفَكَّهُونَ

   56:65If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder

3. إِنَّا لَمُغۡرَمُونَ

   56:66[Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt

4. بَلۡ نَحۡنُ مَحۡرُومُونَ

   56:67Rather, we have been deprived

5. أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَآءَ ٱلَّذِي تَشۡرَبُونَ

   56:68And have you seen the water that you drink

6. ءَأَنتُمۡ أَنزَلۡتُمُوهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُزۡنِ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُنزِلُونَ

   56:69Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down

7. لَوۡ نَشَآءُ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ أُجَاجٗا فَلَوۡلَا تَشۡكُرُونَ

   56:70If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful
