Al-Waqi'ah · 56:69

In context

1. إِنَّا لَمُغۡرَمُونَ

   56:66[Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt

2. بَلۡ نَحۡنُ مَحۡرُومُونَ

   56:67Rather, we have been deprived

3. أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَآءَ ٱلَّذِي تَشۡرَبُونَ

   56:68And have you seen the water that you drink

4. ءَأَنتُمۡ أَنزَلۡتُمُوهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُزۡنِ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُنزِلُونَ

   56:69Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down

5. لَوۡ نَشَآءُ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ أُجَاجٗا فَلَوۡلَا تَشۡكُرُونَ

   56:70If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful

6. أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِي تُورُونَ

   56:71And have you seen the fire that you ignite

7. ءَأَنتُمۡ أَنشَأۡتُمۡ شَجَرَتَهَآ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُنشِـُٔونَ

   56:72Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer
