Al-Waqi'ah · 56:80

In context

1. إِنَّهُۥ لَقُرۡءَانٞ كَرِيمٞ

   56:77Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an

2. فِي كِتَٰبٖ مَّكۡنُونٖ

   56:78In a Register well-protected

3. لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُطَهَّرُونَ

   56:79None touch it except the purified

4. تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   56:80[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds

5. أَفَبِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِ أَنتُم مُّدۡهِنُونَ

   56:81Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent

6. وَتَجۡعَلُونَ رِزۡقَكُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ

   56:82And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]

7. فَلَوۡلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلۡحُلۡقُومَ

   56:83Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat
