Al-Waqi'ah · 56:81

In context

1. فِي كِتَٰبٖ مَّكۡنُونٖ

   56:78In a Register well-protected

2. لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُطَهَّرُونَ

   56:79None touch it except the purified

3. تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   56:80[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds

4. أَفَبِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِ أَنتُم مُّدۡهِنُونَ

   56:81Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent

5. وَتَجۡعَلُونَ رِزۡقَكُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ

   56:82And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]

6. فَلَوۡلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلۡحُلۡقُومَ

   56:83Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat

7. وَأَنتُمۡ حِينَئِذٖ تَنظُرُونَ

   56:84And you are at that time looking on
