Al-Waqi'ah · 56:88

In context

1. وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَيۡهِ مِنكُمۡ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبۡصِرُونَ

   56:85And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see

2. فَلَوۡلَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ غَيۡرَ مَدِينِينَ

   56:86Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed

3. تَرۡجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

   56:87Bring it back, if you should be truthful

4. فَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ

   56:88And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah

5. فَرَوۡحٞ وَرَيۡحَانٞ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٖ

   56:89Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure

6. وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

   56:90And if he was of the companions of the right

7. فَسَلَٰمٞ لَّكَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

   56:91Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right
