Al-Haqqah · 69:25

In context

1. فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ

   69:22In an elevated garden

2. قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٞ

   69:23Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near

3. كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَآ أَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَيَّامِ ٱلۡخَالِيَةِ

   69:24[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past

4. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي لَمۡ أُوتَ كِتَٰبِيَهۡ

   69:25But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record

5. وَلَمۡ أَدۡرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهۡ

   69:26And had not known what is my account

6. يَٰلَيۡتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلۡقَاضِيَةَ

   69:27I wish my death had been the decisive one

7. مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنِّي مَالِيَهۡۜ

   69:28My wealth has not availed me
