Al-Haqqah · 69:35

In context

1. ثُمَّ فِي سِلۡسِلَةٖ ذَرۡعُهَا سَبۡعُونَ ذِرَاعٗا فَٱسۡلُكُوهُ

   69:32Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him

2. إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

   69:33Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Great

3. وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ

   69:34Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor

4. فَلَيۡسَ لَهُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ هَٰهُنَا حَمِيمٞ

   69:35So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend

5. وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنۡ غِسۡلِينٖ

   69:36Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds

6. لَّا يَأۡكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡخَٰطِـُٔونَ

   69:37None will eat it except the sinners

7. فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِمَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

   69:38So I swear by what you see
