Al-Haqqah · 69:37

In context

1. وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ

   69:34Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor

2. فَلَيۡسَ لَهُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ هَٰهُنَا حَمِيمٞ

   69:35So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend

3. وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنۡ غِسۡلِينٖ

   69:36Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds

4. لَّا يَأۡكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡخَٰطِـُٔونَ

   69:37None will eat it except the sinners

5. فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِمَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

   69:38So I swear by what you see

6. وَمَا لَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

   69:39And what you do not see

7. إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ

   69:40[That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger
