Al-Haqqah · 69:40

In context

1. لَّا يَأۡكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡخَٰطِـُٔونَ

   69:37None will eat it except the sinners

2. فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِمَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

   69:38So I swear by what you see

3. وَمَا لَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

   69:39And what you do not see

4. إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ

   69:40[That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger

5. وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَاعِرٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تُؤۡمِنُونَ

   69:41And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe

6. وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

   69:42Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember

7. تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   69:43[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds
