In context

1. إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ

   69:40[That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger

2. وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَاعِرٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تُؤۡمِنُونَ

   69:41And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe

3. وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

   69:42Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember

4. تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   69:43[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds

5. وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ ٱلۡأَقَاوِيلِ

   69:44And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings

6. لَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِٱلۡيَمِينِ

   69:45We would have seized him by the right hand

7. ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ ٱلۡوَتِينَ

   69:46Then We would have cut from him the aorta
