Al-Haqqah · 69:44

In context

1. وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَاعِرٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تُؤۡمِنُونَ

   69:41And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe

2. وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

   69:42Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember

3. تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   69:43[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds

4. وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ ٱلۡأَقَاوِيلِ

   69:44And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings

5. لَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِٱلۡيَمِينِ

   69:45We would have seized him by the right hand

6. ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ ٱلۡوَتِينَ

   69:46Then We would have cut from him the aorta

7. فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ عَنۡهُ حَٰجِزِينَ

   69:47And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him
