Al-Haqqah · 69:45

In context

1. وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنٖۚ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

   69:42Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember

2. تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   69:43[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds

3. وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ ٱلۡأَقَاوِيلِ

   69:44And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings

4. لَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِٱلۡيَمِينِ

   69:45We would have seized him by the right hand

5. ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ ٱلۡوَتِينَ

   69:46Then We would have cut from him the aorta

6. فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ عَنۡهُ حَٰجِزِينَ

   69:47And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him

7. وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذۡكِرَةٞ لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ

   69:48And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous
