Al-A'raf · 7:121

In context

1. فَوَقَعَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

   7:118So the truth was established, and abolished was what they were doing

2. فَغُلِبُواْ هُنَالِكَ وَٱنقَلَبُواْ صَٰغِرِينَ

   7:119And Pharaoh and his people were overcome right there and became debased

3. وَأُلۡقِيَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَٰجِدِينَ

   7:120And the magicians fell down in prostration [to Allah]

4. قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

   7:121They said, "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds

5. رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ

   7:122The Lord of Moses and Aaron

6. قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦ قَبۡلَ أَنۡ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمۡۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَمَكۡرٞ مَّكَرۡتُمُوهُ فِي ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ لِتُخۡرِجُواْ مِنۡهَآ أَهۡلَهَاۖ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

   7:123Said Pharaoh, "You believed in him before I gave you permission. Indeed, this is a conspiracy which you conspired in the city to expel therefrom its people. But you are going to know

7. لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيۡدِيَكُمۡ وَأَرۡجُلَكُم مِّنۡ خِلَٰفٖ ثُمَّ لَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

   7:124I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides; then I will surely crucify you all
