Al-Ma'arij · 70:10

In context

1. وَنَرَىٰهُ قَرِيبٗا

   70:7But We see it [as] near

2. يَوۡمَ تَكُونُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ

   70:8On the Day the sky will be like murky oil

3. وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ

   70:9And the mountains will be like wool

4. وَلَا يَسۡـَٔلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمٗا

   70:10And no friend will ask [anything of] a friend

5. يُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ يَفۡتَدِي مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِئِذِۭ بِبَنِيهِ

   70:11They will be shown each other. The criminal will wish that he could be ransomed from the punishment of that Day by his children

6. وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَأَخِيهِ

   70:12And his wife and his brother

7. وَفَصِيلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِي تُـٔۡوِيهِ

   70:13And his nearest kindred who shelter him
