Al-Ma'arij · 70:21

In context

1. وَجَمَعَ فَأَوۡعَىٰٓ

   70:18And collected [wealth] and hoarded

2. ۞إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا

   70:19Indeed, mankind was created anxious

3. إِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ جَزُوعٗا

   70:20When evil touches him, impatient

4. وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلۡخَيۡرُ مَنُوعًا

   70:21And when good touches him, withholding [of it]

5. إِلَّا ٱلۡمُصَلِّينَ

   70:22Except the observers of prayer

6. ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ دَآئِمُونَ

   70:23Those who are constant in their prayer

7. وَٱلَّذِينَ فِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ حَقّٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ

   70:24And those within whose wealth is a known right
