Al-Ma'arij · 70:34

In context

1. فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ

   70:31But whoever seeks beyond that, then they are the transgressors

2. وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَٰعُونَ

   70:32And those who are to their trusts and promises attentive

3. وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَٰدَٰتِهِمۡ قَآئِمُونَ

   70:33And those who are in their testimonies upright

4. وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ

   70:34And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer

5. أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ مُّكۡرَمُونَ

   70:35They will be in gardens, honored

6. فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ قِبَلَكَ مُهۡطِعِينَ

   70:36So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad]

7. عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ

   70:37[To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups
