Al-Ma'arij · 70:36

In context

1. وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَٰدَٰتِهِمۡ قَآئِمُونَ

   70:33And those who are in their testimonies upright

2. وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ

   70:34And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer

3. أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ مُّكۡرَمُونَ

   70:35They will be in gardens, honored

4. فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ قِبَلَكَ مُهۡطِعِينَ

   70:36So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad]

5. عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ

   70:37[To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups

6. أَيَطۡمَعُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُدۡخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٖ

   70:38Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure

7. كَلَّآۖ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ

   70:39No! Indeed, We have created them from that which they know
