In context

1. وَجَعَلَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورٗا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجٗا

   71:16And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp

2. وَٱللَّهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ نَبَاتٗا

   71:17And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth

3. ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمۡ فِيهَا وَيُخۡرِجُكُمۡ إِخۡرَاجٗا

   71:18Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction

4. وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِسَاطٗا

   71:19And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse

5. لِّتَسۡلُكُواْ مِنۡهَا سُبُلٗا فِجَاجٗا

   71:20That you may follow therein roads of passage

6. قَالَ نُوحٞ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمۡ عَصَوۡنِي وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَن لَّمۡ يَزِدۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ إِلَّا خَسَارٗا

   71:21Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss

7. وَمَكَرُواْ مَكۡرٗا كُبَّارٗا

   71:22And they conspired an immense conspiracy
