Al-Muddaththir · 74:14

In context

1. ذَرۡنِي وَمَنۡ خَلَقۡتُ وَحِيدٗا

   74:11Leave Me with the one I created alone

2. وَجَعَلۡتُ لَهُۥ مَالٗا مَّمۡدُودٗا

   74:12And to whom I granted extensive wealth

3. وَبَنِينَ شُهُودٗا

   74:13And children present [with him]

4. وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُۥ تَمۡهِيدٗا

   74:14And spread [everything] before him, easing [his life]

5. ثُمَّ يَطۡمَعُ أَنۡ أَزِيدَ

   74:15Then he desires that I should add more

6. كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِأٓيَٰتِنَا عَنِيدٗا

   74:16No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate

7. سَأُرۡهِقُهُۥ صَعُودًا

   74:17I will cover him with arduous torment
