Al-Muddaththir · 74:15

In context

1. وَجَعَلۡتُ لَهُۥ مَالٗا مَّمۡدُودٗا

   74:12And to whom I granted extensive wealth

2. وَبَنِينَ شُهُودٗا

   74:13And children present [with him]

3. وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُۥ تَمۡهِيدٗا

   74:14And spread [everything] before him, easing [his life]

4. ثُمَّ يَطۡمَعُ أَنۡ أَزِيدَ

   74:15Then he desires that I should add more

5. كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِأٓيَٰتِنَا عَنِيدٗا

   74:16No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate

6. سَأُرۡهِقُهُۥ صَعُودًا

   74:17I will cover him with arduous torment

7. إِنَّهُۥ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ

   74:18Indeed, he thought and deliberated
