Al-Muddaththir · 74:20

In context

1. سَأُرۡهِقُهُۥ صَعُودًا

   74:17I will cover him with arduous torment

2. إِنَّهُۥ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ

   74:18Indeed, he thought and deliberated

3. فَقُتِلَ كَيۡفَ قَدَّرَ

   74:19So may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated

4. ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيۡفَ قَدَّرَ

   74:20Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated

5. ثُمَّ نَظَرَ

   74:21Then he considered [again]

6. ثُمَّ عَبَسَ وَبَسَرَ

   74:22Then he frowned and scowled

7. ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ

   74:23Then he turned back and was arrogant
