Al-Muddaththir · 74:26

In context

1. ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ

   74:23Then he turned back and was arrogant

2. فَقَالَ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ يُؤۡثَرُ

   74:24And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others]

3. إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا قَوۡلُ ٱلۡبَشَرِ

   74:25This is not but the word of a human being

4. سَأُصۡلِيهِ سَقَرَ

   74:26I will drive him into Saqar

5. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سَقَرُ

   74:27And what can make you know what is Saqar

6. لَا تُبۡقِي وَلَا تَذَرُ

   74:28It lets nothing remain and leaves nothing [unburned]

7. لَوَّاحَةٞ لِّلۡبَشَرِ

   74:29Blackening the skins
