Al-Muddaththir · 74:27

In context

1. فَقَالَ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ يُؤۡثَرُ

   74:24And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others]

2. إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا قَوۡلُ ٱلۡبَشَرِ

   74:25This is not but the word of a human being

3. سَأُصۡلِيهِ سَقَرَ

   74:26I will drive him into Saqar

4. وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سَقَرُ

   74:27And what can make you know what is Saqar

5. لَا تُبۡقِي وَلَا تَذَرُ

   74:28It lets nothing remain and leaves nothing [unburned]

6. لَوَّاحَةٞ لِّلۡبَشَرِ

   74:29Blackening the skins

7. عَلَيۡهَا تِسۡعَةَ عَشَرَ

   74:30Over it are nineteen [angels]
