Al-Muddaththir · 74:35

In context

1. كَلَّا وَٱلۡقَمَرِ

   74:32No! By the moon

2. وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذۡ أَدۡبَرَ

   74:33And [by] the night when it departs

3. وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَآ أَسۡفَرَ

   74:34And [by] the morning when it brightens

4. إِنَّهَا لَإِحۡدَى ٱلۡكُبَرِ

   74:35Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions]

5. نَذِيرٗا لِّلۡبَشَرِ

   74:36As a warning to humanity

6. لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوۡ يَتَأَخَّرَ

   74:37To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind

7. كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ رَهِينَةٌ

   74:38Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
