Al-Muddaththir · 74:36

In context

1. وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذۡ أَدۡبَرَ

   74:33And [by] the night when it departs

2. وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَآ أَسۡفَرَ

   74:34And [by] the morning when it brightens

3. إِنَّهَا لَإِحۡدَى ٱلۡكُبَرِ

   74:35Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions]

4. نَذِيرٗا لِّلۡبَشَرِ

   74:36As a warning to humanity

5. لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوۡ يَتَأَخَّرَ

   74:37To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind

6. كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ رَهِينَةٌ

   74:38Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained

7. إِلَّآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

   74:39Except the companions of the right
