Al-Muddaththir · 74:39

In context

1. نَذِيرٗا لِّلۡبَشَرِ

   74:36As a warning to humanity

2. لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوۡ يَتَأَخَّرَ

   74:37To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind

3. كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ رَهِينَةٌ

   74:38Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained

4. إِلَّآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

   74:39Except the companions of the right

5. فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

   74:40[Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other

6. عَنِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

   74:41About the criminals

7. مَا سَلَكَكُمۡ فِي سَقَرَ

   74:42[And asking them], "What put you into Saqar
