Al-Muddaththir · 74:41

In context

1. كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ رَهِينَةٌ

   74:38Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained

2. إِلَّآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

   74:39Except the companions of the right

3. فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

   74:40[Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other

4. عَنِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

   74:41About the criminals

5. مَا سَلَكَكُمۡ فِي سَقَرَ

   74:42[And asking them], "What put you into Saqar

6. قَالُواْ لَمۡ نَكُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُصَلِّينَ

   74:43They will say, "We were not of those who prayed

7. وَلَمۡ نَكُ نُطۡعِمُ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ

   74:44Nor did we used to feed the poor
