Al-Muddaththir · 74:44

In context

1. عَنِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

   74:41About the criminals

2. مَا سَلَكَكُمۡ فِي سَقَرَ

   74:42[And asking them], "What put you into Saqar

3. قَالُواْ لَمۡ نَكُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُصَلِّينَ

   74:43They will say, "We were not of those who prayed

4. وَلَمۡ نَكُ نُطۡعِمُ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ

   74:44Nor did we used to feed the poor

5. وَكُنَّا نَخُوضُ مَعَ ٱلۡخَآئِضِينَ

   74:45And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it]

6. وَكُنَّا نُكَذِّبُ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ

   74:46And we used to deny the Day of Recompense

7. حَتَّىٰٓ أَتَىٰنَا ٱلۡيَقِينُ

   74:47Until there came to us the certainty
