Al-Muddaththir · 74:51

In context

1. فَمَا تَنفَعُهُمۡ شَفَٰعَةُ ٱلشَّـٰفِعِينَ

   74:48So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors

2. فَمَا لَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلتَّذۡكِرَةِ مُعۡرِضِينَ

   74:49Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away

3. كَأَنَّهُمۡ حُمُرٞ مُّسۡتَنفِرَةٞ

   74:50As if they were alarmed donkeys

4. فَرَّتۡ مِن قَسۡوَرَةِۭ

   74:51Fleeing from a lion

5. بَلۡ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُؤۡتَىٰ صُحُفٗا مُّنَشَّرَةٗ

   74:52Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about

6. كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا يَخَافُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ

   74:53No! But they do not fear the Hereafter

7. كَلَّآ إِنَّهُۥ تَذۡكِرَةٞ

   74:54No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder
