Al-Muddaththir · 74:55

In context

1. بَلۡ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُؤۡتَىٰ صُحُفٗا مُّنَشَّرَةٗ

   74:52Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about

2. كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا يَخَافُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ

   74:53No! But they do not fear the Hereafter

3. كَلَّآ إِنَّهُۥ تَذۡكِرَةٞ

   74:54No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder

4. فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ

   74:55Then whoever wills will remember it

5. وَمَا يَذۡكُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ هُوَ أَهۡلُ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ وَأَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِ

   74:56And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness
